FAQs
How can a single workshop help?
The data tells it all:
80% feel more supported and comfortable with the group
93% feel valued by their company
87% felt empathy for others
When we feel more valued at work, we’re likely to show up, give our best, and want to stay through challenging times.
What does “re-building” mean?
We can’t build on top of a crumbling foundation. Most of what keeps our teams stuck in indecision, conflict, favoritism, and bias, are under the surface. Laughing together only gets us so far — we must acknowledge current and past hurts so we can design a new team culture. If we don’t address those root cause issues, they’ll continue to seep into your interactions, performance, and mindset. We say “re-building” because we’re creating a new foundation together.
Where do you do workshops?
Virtual through Zoom or In-Person. We have a bias towards In-Person workshops for maximum possibilities for our techniques and supporting your team through any objections that might come up. But thanks to the pandemic, we’ve successfully adapted our core techniques to Zoom without sacrificing results.
Our team is really struggling and we don’t know why. Is this for us?
Definitely. These workshops and our techniques help teams feel safe and help us get to root cause issues without resulting to direct conflict or retraumatizing anyone. The theatre techniques allow us to create objective circumstances that we are bound to experience over and over again. Then we use the objective scenarios for robust discussion and come up with resolutions.
Will there be additional costs?
Generally no. Additional costs come from: travel for in-person workshops farther than 2 hours from Seattle, longer workshops, a series of sessions, custom content development, large groups, etc. We’ll go over all additional costs in your co-creation call where we customize to your needs.
Wait. Theatre? Do I need to perform?
No performance or experience necessary. Theatre gives us a different language to understand how people work and express complex things like emotions. You can learn more about our techniques here: Theatre Explained.
Are there any physical limitations or requirements to participate?
Nope! Our exercises and activities are adaptable and inclusive of all ages and abilities.
Can we book a workshop on a specific topic?
It is likely! Our techniques have been successfully adapted to all kinds of business topics for developing collaboration and communication skills. These workshops will always be highly interactive, include use of our theatre techniques, and will go deeper than your standard “training” to get sustained behavior change.
Book your session, and we’ll work through a custom workshop together.
What do you really know about business?
After more than ten years in technology startups in various sectors — healthcare, retail, hospitality, legal, enterprise solutions — I have seen how difficult it can be to balance business results and the needs of your employees.
Through building and delivering new hire training, executing change management plans, integrating acquisitions, and coaching managers & agents, I have been in the trenches working to drive outcomes and transform behavior to align with your values and goals.
I’ve seen big and small changes at the strategic business level have huge ripple down effects — simply by not acknowledging the impact of those who need to change.
Your business is powered by people, and they need a new kind of help and support. Your business depends on their success.
