  • Everybody Participated & Had a Great Time!

“After meeting with Katie, she had a fresh perspective and great ideas to accomplish our goals. Our team felt out of sync, not a team at all, and I wanted to change that. I hired Katie because of the out of the box approach. It was amazing! My team is very introverted, and everybody participated and had a great time.” - Michael L.

  • Nailed It

“Katie is awesome! Her approach blends theater and traditional business to make everyone feel welcome and like they are having fun. She is very professional. She was a content expert for our accelerator and she went above and beyond. From her deck to her content she nailed it. It's about time people had fun on Zoom!”

  • Culture Matters

“Katie's passion for changing corporate culture from the inside out shines through the minute she smiles. She believes so strongly that a happy working environment can translate to a better work/life balance and in turn, a better world. I happily enrolled her as the second guest on my podcast because her message needed to be heard. It's been my honor to work with her on multiple projects and I can't wait to see the impact her new venture will have on the world.”

    Riah G, Linq Consulting Solutions

  • So Much Insight

“Katie took me through a unique exercise that really illuminated a dynamic that was taking place in my organization. It helped me to identify what was going on at the surface but more importantly, what was going on internally. She also help me see how the power structure and an individuals perception played into the struggle. Katie is an excellent listener and great at holding you accountable without judgement. So much insight, so much actionable advice!”

    Practically Magic

  • Rare Energy, Focus and Vision

“Katie is exceptional at crafting not just trainings, but moments. Moments that challenge teams to challenge perspectives, reflect and grow.

She brings a rare energy, focus and vision to every project I’ve worked with her on.”

    — Morgan T, Upserve

  • Elegant Communication

“Katie is a one of a kind person to have on your team and a true value add. Her effect on our team was immediately felt when she first joined. One of things that one immediately notices about Katie, is that she will always be the most articulate person in the room. I’ve honestly never met someone who so elegantly communicates objectives, and great ideas like Katie does.”

    — Ijeoma I, Vista Consulting Group

  • Calm in the Storm

“Katie has been amazing. As the project started, she has been a true consultant and collaborator in sharing her previous experience. She’s not shied away from asking tough questions or bringing to light ‘trouble areas’ to be on the lookout for. Katie has made herself available, accessible and has continued to be a calm in the storm and her efforts are greatly appreciated.“

FAQs

How can a single workshop help?

The data tells it all:

  • 80% feel more supported and comfortable with the group

  • 93% feel valued by their company

  • 87% felt empathy for others

When we feel more valued at work, we’re likely to show up, give our best, and want to stay through challenging times.

What does “re-building” mean?

We can’t build on top of a crumbling foundation. Most of what keeps our teams stuck in indecision, conflict, favoritism, and bias, are under the surface. Laughing together only gets us so far — we must acknowledge current and past hurts so we can design a new team culture. If we don’t address those root cause issues, they’ll continue to seep into your interactions, performance, and mindset. We say “re-building” because we’re creating a new foundation together.

Where do you do workshops?

Virtual through Zoom or In-Person. We have a bias towards In-Person workshops for maximum possibilities for our techniques and supporting your team through any objections that might come up. But thanks to the pandemic, we’ve successfully adapted our core techniques to Zoom without sacrificing results.

Our team is really struggling and we don’t know why. Is this for us?

Definitely. These workshops and our techniques help teams feel safe and help us get to root cause issues without resulting to direct conflict or retraumatizing anyone. The theatre techniques allow us to create objective circumstances that we are bound to experience over and over again. Then we use the objective scenarios for robust discussion and come up with resolutions.

Will there be additional costs?

Generally no. Additional costs come from: travel for in-person workshops farther than 2 hours from Seattle, longer workshops, a series of sessions, custom content development, large groups, etc. We’ll go over all additional costs in your co-creation call where we customize to your needs.

Wait. Theatre? Do I need to perform?

No performance or experience necessary. Theatre gives us a different language to understand how people work and express complex things like emotions. You can learn more about our techniques here: Theatre Explained.

Are there any physical limitations or requirements to participate?

Nope! Our exercises and activities are adaptable and inclusive of all ages and abilities.

Can we book a workshop on a specific topic?

It is likely! Our techniques have been successfully adapted to all kinds of business topics for developing collaboration and communication skills. These workshops will always be highly interactive, include use of our theatre techniques, and will go deeper than your standard “training” to get sustained behavior change.

Book your session, and we’ll work through a custom workshop together.

What do you really know about business?

After more than ten years in technology startups in various sectors — healthcare, retail, hospitality, legal, enterprise solutions — I have seen how difficult it can be to balance business results and the needs of your employees.

Through building and delivering new hire training, executing change management plans, integrating acquisitions, and coaching managers & agents, I have been in the trenches working to drive outcomes and transform behavior to align with your values and goals.

I’ve seen big and small changes at the strategic business level have huge ripple down effects — simply by not acknowledging the impact of those who need to change.

Your business is powered by people, and they need a new kind of help and support. Your business depends on their success.
